Financial Aid and Emergency Loans
Approximately 85 percent of students at Westmont receive some form of financial Aid, including parent loans. Financial Aid may be available to you if you have demonstrated financial need or academic excellence. You may obtain information about the types of financial Aid available and the process of applying to receive Aid from the Financial Aid Office in Kerrwood Hall, open weekdays from 910:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.3:30 p.m.
Westmonts financial Aid probation policy requires students to successfully complete a minimum of 12 units each semester with a Westmont cumulative grade point

4. "Iconomy": A Rule Theory for Images in the Church

recommends rule theory as an aid to ecumenical discussion among Christian traditions.5 Lindbeck illustrates the flexibility of rules by appealing to Athanasius' dictum that whatever is said of the Father is said of the Son, except that the Son is not the Father.6 A rule like this is comprehensible not only in a fourth-century Hellenistic context, but in a context as wide as the Christian Church itself, since all Nicene Christians speak thus of the Father and the Son. Thus it might be used to explain the dynamics behind Nicene and Chalcedonian Christology. More importantly, it might help derive and test Christologies that rely on non-Hellenistic categories,

State exams such as the CSET Multiple Subject (Liberal Studies majors) and the Reading Instruction Competency Assessment (RICAElementary Credential Program graduates) provide evidence of whether department is meeting state standards for content-knowledge and professional knowledge.

is designed to provide instruction and exposure to fitness, skill-based and leisure activities. All students are required to take Fitness for Life and three 1-unit physical activity courses. A wellness-based foundation is laid in Fitness for Life, with the additional three activity courses providing reinforcement for a lifetime of physical activity. Transfer students must complete one PE Activity course for each full year they are enrolled at Westmont, or complete all four (4) PE Activity course requirements, including PEA-032 Fitness for Life.
